Two sources, and they do not work the same way
xfree — Direct files come straight from the source’s own CDN at full speed. Nothing passes through this site.
XFreeHD — This source locks each download address to whoever requested it, so your browser cannot fetch it. This server fetches it and passes it to you. It can be slower, and it is the honest reason why.
Download addresses come from the source and stop working on its side after about three hours. Fetch again if a save fails.
Why the size column stays empty until you press Save
The size is not shown before you choose. XFreeHD keeps only one download address alive per video at a time, so asking it for a size would break the link you are about to use. The size appears as the file arrives.
Questions people ask first
Do I need an account?
No. XFreeHD has its own download button, but every option under it points at a sign-up page. This tool does not ask you to register, and it does not ask XFreeHD to either.
Which qualities can I get?
Whatever the video was published with. On XFreeHD that is up to two files, labelled SD and HD by XFreeHD itself. There is no 1080p ladder to choose from, and this tool does not invent quality names that the source does not publish.
Why is there no file size until I press Save?
Because asking for one would break the download. XFreeHD keeps a single working address per video at a time, so measuring a file means burning the link you were about to use. The size appears as the file arrives instead.
